The liturgical year for the monks of the Ordo Verbum Dei begins in the Monday after Trinity Sunday. The six days of this week are an interstitial period which precedes the first great feast of the year: Creation Sunday. The cycle continues from that point until the Octave of Pentecost, which ends the liturgical year.
