The readings for Holy Week among the monks of Ordo Verbum Dei vary every year depending on which gospel was used after Epiphany. Each year, however, uses a similar format in which the gospel readings take place at the major hours and at mass.
On Good Friday, the gospel readings continue but are not accompanied by a readings form the epistles or Old Testament at the midday liturgy which replaces mass. Holy Saturday only has a morning liturgy. The readings for Easter Sunday are also included here because they are also determined by the gospel used for Holy Week. On this day, mass occurs at midnight and at noon, while Vespers is not prayed.
